DTN COMMENTS: The country is slow to start this morning following a light
to moderate trade yesterday. Live trade was at 128.00, about $2.00 lower
than last week's weighted averages. Dressed trade was very light and ranged
from 203.00-205.00, steady to $2.00 lower than last week's weighted average
basis Nebraska. Asking prices are around 130.00 in the South and 207.00 in
the North. We should see more trade today and/or tomorrow, especially in the
North. Beef cutouts are expected to be higher, with light to moderate box
movement.
